We are a supportive and diverse group who all share the need to connect and the heart to support our neurokin. Our format is Intros/Checkins then open discussion focused on sharing of experiences & resources. This is a Neurokindred Autistic co-facilitated peer support space.
Sean Hynes

Sean Hynes is an AuDHD lived experience peer professional passionate about the profound impact of peer connection on wellbeing for Autistic people.
As co-founder of Alpine Valleys Autism Community (AVAC), Sean facilitates peer support groups for local Autistic adults and carers of Autistic people across the Alpine Shire in North East Victoria. Founded in 2024 by local residents who are late-identified Autistic and carers to young Autistic people, AVAC creates safe, confidential, welcoming spaces for connection, learning and mutual support. The organisation also engages in community advocacy and education, guided by neurodiversity-affirming principles focused on genuine acceptance and understanding.
Beyond AVAC, Sean co-leads Neurokindred’s Men & Non-binary+ Peer Support Group and is an active member of several other online Autistic communities. He maintains a strong interest in Autistic wellbeing research, regularly contributing to studies through lived-experience advisory roles and as a research participant. Sean also has an interest in social entrepreneurship, and hopes to use his professional leadership and start-up experience to create positive change at scale for Autistic people across Australia.

Mason is a content creator and video editor whose channel, Exasoul, has featured his Minecraft content since 2015.
A budding author and artist, Mason brings both creative vision and technical skill to his work.
At Neurokindred, Mason is a peer mentor, group facilitator, and part of the administration and technical support team.
He currently co-facilitates the:

Mason is studying a Certificate II in Applied Digital Technology and is completing a work experience internship under the guidance of technology coach & mentor Jess Jones of Dot Jess.
He is also a member of the Neurokindred social enterprise and Neurokindred Foundation website project team, contributing his skills in content creation, technology, and design
