Cook/Bake Chat
Not a cooking class-a safe space to play and explore all the complexities of our relationships with food while cooking, or simply chat or listen while others cook.
Do you love to experiment in the kitchen? Do you have recipes to share or want to try new ones? Try something new, share your baking triumphs or cooks’ epic fails. A safe enough and friendly space
to body double in the kitchen, chat about chronic health, sensitivities and gut symptoms that impact
how we manage food.
Share the unique and innovative hacks we have all developed to survive.
To spend time or take risks together and hopefully reclaim the joy of cooking.
What to Bring:
Ingredients for the new recipe or favourite thing you are going to make.
Photo to share of a ‘triumph’ dish.
Karen Noble
she/her
Autistic, ADHD, PDA
Karen is a late diagnosed AuDHDer with C-PTSD, GAD, from a multigenerational, multiply neurodivergent family with 3 ND young adult children. Karen has 30+ years of clinical experience working in areas of diagnostics, oncological therapy and research in the public sector, and for the past 10 years in pathology collection for the private sector. For much of her parenting journey Karen felt isolated. Since recognising her AuDHD, she has been on a new path advocating for system changes in education, learning all she can about neurodiversity and healing while rewriting the narratives of her life. Noblekinnections is her passion project where she shares her lived experience, supports and mentors peers and continues to rewrite her own story while helping others. Social justice doing through peer work with a Narrative approach has become her latest passion.
