When do you see clients?
Neurokindred is located in QLD and uses Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST), we operate during regular business hours from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday. However, we understand that not everyone can make it during these times, so we also offer after-hours availability on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (please contact us to confirm). If you need an appointment in the early morning or on the weekend, we can accommodate those requests as well. Simply let us know and we’ll do our best to find a convenient time for you.
What are your fees?
Standard fee is $100 an hour
Am I able to use my NDIS funding to pay for this service?
Yes, sessions can be claimed with NDIS funds for plan managed or self managed participants with funding for therapy supports. If you are not sure whether your plan can fund this service, please do not hesitate to get in touch for clarification.
Can I use my mental health plan or get a medicare rebate?
Counselling services are not eligible for mental health plan or Medicare rebates at this time.
How long do sessions go for?
Counselling sessions go for 60 minutes. The initial session is an extra 15 minutes long to discuss the counselling contract.
How can I pay for the session?
We send an invoice after the service has been provided. Payment is made through bank transfer to Neurokindred. If you have any further questions or require additional payment options, please feel free to let us know, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
