Meet the Author Lounge: David Gray-Hammond
David Gray-Hammond is an Autistic, ADHD, and schizophrenic author and internationally respected advocate. Their work has become essential reading for many in our community, offering clarity and courage in naming the realities that so often go unseen. From accessible descriptions & framings for our complex internal experiences, insightful and real discussions about lived experience of psychosis and psychiatric abuse to the complex intersections of substance use, trauma, and survival. David has also been a leading voice in shaping conversations around neuroqueering and challenging neuronormative expectations in systems and organisations.
Neurokindred is launching “Meet the Author Lounge” as a metaphorical fireside gathering, where Autistic leaders, advocates, authors, poets, and artists can bring their work, their why, and their dreams to share in this community space. We are deeply honoured to welcome David as our very first guest, and to gather around as they share their wisdom, projects, and plans for the future.
David has said they are open to all questions about any of their work so sign-up today for this unique experience.
