Description
Tasha is a Queer Neurodivergent (NeuroQueer) Counsellor, Advocate, wife, and chronic pain battler. Many of her clients are neurodivergent, mainly autism and/or ADHD and are part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Tasha uses her lived experience to work with these individuals to connect on a deeper level as someone who understands many of the struggles and triumphs faced.
Individual and relationship counselling sessions offered in person, by video or phone. Session lengths of 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Open 7 days a week, beginning at 7 am, and closing by 3 pm. Private billing, sessions paid 48 hours before the booked time. Also able to invoice NDIS. Clients age 16 years and above. Waiting period averages approximately a week from time of enquiry.

Tasha is an Integrative Counsellor whose main therapies used include (not an exhaustive list): Trauma-informed therapy; Solutions-focused Therapy; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy; Psychoeducation; Dialectical Behavioural Therapy; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy; Internal Family Systems Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
Most sessions are delivered from a neurodivergent perspective, though neurotypical clients are also very welcome.
Tasha's general approach is to gentle challenge and empower clients to grow and change as they aspire to. Tasha prefers to work with clients as a team, not as the Counsellor being the expert.
