Online Individual Counselling

Embark on a journey within from the cozy refuge of your own home. Welcome to Neurokindred’s online individual counselling sessions, carefully designed to be an ideal space for Autistic adults on a journey of self-discovery.

Picture yourself, nestled in your favourite corner, shoes off and a soothing cup of tea in hand. With online therapy, you receive confidential, professional therapy with a registered counsellor in the comfort of your own home. There’s no need to sit in traffic, worry about being late for an appointment or wring your hands in the waiting room. The logistics are smooth and your comfort is assured because you control it.

Confidentiality and trust are paramount. We conduct our sessions through private Zoom meetings, ensuring a confidential and secure environment. Your words, thoughts, and emotions are treated with the utmost respect, and our commitment to confidentiality is unwavering. Your therapeutic journey is a private and personal experience.

At Neurokindred the relational safety of the therapeutic alliance is not just an aspect of counselling but a cornerstone of our approach. Your journey of self-discovery is not taken alone; but alongside your counsellor; it’s a collaborative venture focused on healing, attunement, insight, acceptance and learning to work with your neurology.

However the most unique and powerful element of Neurokindred counselling is that we are Autistic too. There is no comparison to the ease of communication, mutual understanding, shared experience and community that is generated from being with neurokin. We too are ‘out with lanterns looking for ourselves’ and learning to embrace our Autistic ways of being. Through genuine connection and attunement, your counsellor becomes not just a guide but a trusted companion on your unique journey.
